Todd and Alyda McGaw, Todd and Lades, Lady and the Todd, Team McGaw, T&A… We love life, we love all the people of this beautiful Earthworld, and we also photograph weddings. (That’s probably why you’re here yes?).
This has been our gig together now as husbo & wife for over a decade.
We’re charging ahead into the wild blue yonder with metaphorical guns blazing—meeting amazing other humans along the way, while witnessing their stories of love and good times.
That is pretty much what we do in one paragraph, & yep, we feel pretty dang lucky/privileged to be able to do it.
The greatest hits of who we are:
Alyda is a huge book nerd and career thrift shop/opp shopper, with a side hustle buying & selling vintage clothing.
I (Todd), have been collecting records since always, and have a side hustle restoring & resurrecting vintage turntables.
We also made a baby person together & she is the G.O.A.T. Our other housemates are Fred the handsomest cat, and our 3 chickens - Oreo, and The Veronicas.

Wedding photography is very much a collaboration between you (as a couple), and us. You both bring yourselves, your relationship, your stories, your history, your families, & your favourite people in the whole world, & we’ll bring our eyeballs, our laid-back nature, & what we know about photography, art, people, & weddings, and we can all meet in the middle – have an amazingly great time – and see what awesome things we can create.
As photographers Alyda & I take inspiration from a HUGE variety of sources – Art, cinema, music, books, pop culture, family, architecture, and life. We are never content to just sit back & say “Well, that’s it… I’ve learned all I need to know about that.”
We are always learning, always searching for new sources of adventure & discovery. And this really comes through in our photography. We’re not afraid to try something new.

It’s primarily a Dutch name meaning “of Noble kin”.. Pronunciation is tricky because the spelling throws us English speakers way off course..
It’s like this.. Alyda —> A.ly.da —> [Uh].[Lay].[Dah].. Alyda is also known as “Lades” (rhymes with spades), and/or “Lady”.

We get to mix everything we love about life into our job.. We get to meet lots of different an wonderful humans, and see lots of new places.. Witnessing love in action never gets old - it’s dynamic, it’s exhilarating, it’s loud, it’s quiet, it’s powerful, it’s vulnerable, and photographing weddings makes us feel toasty warm right in our heart-fibres..

OMG are you kidding me?!?! We cannot wait to get your wedding photos to you!! Within a week after your wedding, we’ll send you a handful of bangers we captured on the day so you can flex over your socials etc..
After your wedding, it takes us 4-6 weeks to post-produce your images & you can expect somewhere around 60 images per hour of coverage..
You’ll be able to download your photos from your private online image gallery.. All images are high resolution and will give you plenty of detail in print (unless you want to make a billboard of yourself – which we can still do, but I need to prep the image file a bit to make it HUGE)…

We know how you feel - the struggle is real.. Let’s just say that we’ve been doing this long enough now for this not to be an issue… We’ve got you! We pretty much remove the “photography” and “camera” elements from your consciuosness on the day, leaving you free to just have a freakin great time!

Yes, we do.. We don’t build them personally – we have some highly skilled friends in Melbourne, Australia & they build your album for us, and they look and feel freakin amazing..
