thuy & vinh.. & the 4 seasons..

Having the stamina to party on from dawn to midnight with 2 separate tea ceremonies, a civil wedding ceremony, and a reception with 400 guests, is not as easy as it sounds.. but that’s not the only reason Thuy (Twee) & Vinh (Vin), are a rare kind of couple.. During their civil wedding ceremony atop the Kangaroo Point cliffs, we all got completely drenched.. we’re not talking about a sprinkle, a shower, or just a spot of rain.. we’re talking monsoonal downpour of doom.. most guests were prepared for a little rain – with umbrellas, but no-one was quite ready for the amount of water that was about to empty from the heavens..

T&V had chosen not to formulate a ‘plan B’, so here we all were, huddled, cold & very very wet…. & all we could do was laugh… & laugh they did..

the ceremony went for 8.5 minutes.. all done.. then the rain stopped 90 seconds later, & never returned.. Thuy & Vinh’s wedding = action, colour, adventure aplenty.. it certainly was an amazing day..

but alas..  adventure, excitement.. a jedi craves not these things.

love your work T&V..
