This is NOt Art (TiNA).. but really it is

Recently I was invited to contribute photographically to a series for exhibition by local digital artist/animator Pete Foley (who is excellent).  The exhibition was part of the This Is Not Art (TiNA) arts festival in Newcastle early in October.

Pete was already clear on the concepts he wanted to illustrate & present.  The goal was to represent said concepts “As Seen in Lines & Light”.  Concepts then were captured photographically on a sunny Sunday afternoon over much wine & Guinness, & thus interpreted by Pete through digital illustration.  The sweet illustrated frames were done with love by Natalie Perkins. Let me just say, this project was very excellent to be a part of, & it was ace to hang around with other artists & talk about arty stuff that wasn’t wedding or photography related.  LOVEd IT  x9872364!    ps. thanks Pete  :)

The collection (2×8 pieces) were then exhibited in an excellent hallway during the TiNA festival – the pairs shown opposite each other across the hall so they could talk to each other.  El Neato !
