rosie + aaron.. a simple plan.

rosie & aaron’s wedding was amazing..  their story is not one of long lost love, or love from all corners of the globe..  their lives are not full of ‘indiana jones’ style adventure, with love & passion, danger, followed by more love, then misunderstanding – then ending with aaron only just catching rosie at the airport before she leaves his life forever.. or ending with aaron smashing through the locked church doors on his white stallion saying “ROSIE! i’m not dead, i’m alive! check out my awesome wild stallion!” “ps. don’t marry that guy, marry me!”..  no, their story is just real & it’s them.

we loved their wedding for it’s simplicity, and style..   i love the way weddings reflect the personalities of the people getting married.. (it’s way better than looking at dogs that resemble their owners), and Rosie & Aaron’s wedding was simple, clean, quiet even.. and stylish.. not to say that R&A didn’t have a good time, because they they had an awesome time with their family & friends… but being at their wedding brought me a calmness & peace that i rarely feel at weddings, & for once, the day seemed to slow time down rather than accelerate it.. kind of like how bruce lee sees real time in slow motion so his ninja moves are faster..  Rosie & Aaron were well in the zone..   it’s simple really – rosie & aaron.. amazing people, amazing wedding..

rosie – collette dinnigan, jimmy choo.. aaron – the cloak room.. and heaps of thanks you to one of our favourite places in brisbane town, the junk bar, for letting us shoot there too..

Rensche Mari You tell it like it is, and I love that soooooo much! The images are gorgeous, my absolute favorite shot (apart from the silhouettes and the church shots) is the one from the top of the building, where the guests are all standing below – love the pattern!
