nick & steff are people born of [radness].. nick’s proposal to steff started like this..
N: “hey steff?”..
S: “yeah nick?”..
“the power of love… it’s a curious thing right?”
“ummmm.. ok?”
“it’ll make one man weep, & make another man sing.”..
“nick, are you quoting Huey Lewis?”
“NO!”
n&s are very entertaining to be around.. verrrrrry laid back, & they seriously don’t know the meaning of the word ‘serious’.. they are passionate about their relationship, their life, & their miniature dachshund ’nacho’.. their wedding was 100% written by them for them.. “how to have an awesome party (and get married at said awesome party)” by nick & steff..
hanging out with these guys is amazing.. they are non-traditional/cut your own path/adventurous/unafraid type people.. they’re highly creative, scatty, loud, & a little bit weird.. perfect clients really.. in speaking with n&s before their wedding, nick said, “todd.. you guys are part of this.. just photograph what happens, show us what you see in our wedding..” & “ps. can we go to Pellegrini’s Bar during our photo shoot, they do the best granitas IN THE WORLD!”
so that’s exactly what we did.

nick is also the current title holder for the much coveted todd hunter mcgaw photographers, "groom speech of destiny" award.. see below for more on this :)
so, nick is a very talented director.. he presented his speech as a movie pitch to steff & their guests – storyboarded showing their journey, their engagement & through their wedding day where he gives this very speech.. funniest & most creative speech of my wedding photography career! take note men, grab your pole vault pole thingy, because the bar has just been raised another couple of metres!
